 The existing bathroom was dated and lacked both functionality and visual appeal. The client wanted a modern, high-end space with a more refined layout and a clean, cohesive finish.

The existing cottage exterior was tired and weathered, with ageing cladding and areas requiring repair. The goal was to refresh the home’s appearance while ensuring it was properly protected for the long term.

 The home had no dedicated space for a laundry. The client initially suggested placing the washer and dryer on the covered deck, but this needed to be done in a way that was both practical and visually cohesive with the home. 

•  Developed a layout solution to integrate the laundry into the covered deck area 
• Positioned the cabinetry under the kitchen window to improve function and connection to the home 
• Installed cabinetry and integrated appliances within the new layout 
• Installed a tiled benchtop designed to mimic a solid stone finish 
• Coordinated plumbing, electrical, and tiling trades 
• Managed the full project from design through to completion

 A fully functional outdoor laundry that is both practical and visually elevated. The appliances are protected from the elements, while the stone-look benchtop transforms the space into a dual-purpose area — perfect for everyday use and outdoor entertaining.
